purpose
is to encourage all to make a decided effort to lift the cross of Jesus in their
daily lives. It is our goal to provide ideas and resources to help you “lift
the cross” as an individual and as you gather with like-minded followers in
groups. Together we make a movement. As we “lift” Jesus Christ and
His cross work the world will be changed.

Jesus called the disciples to follow Him.
“’Come, follow me,’" Jesus said, "’and I will make you fishers of men.’" At once they left their nets and followed him.” Matthew 4:19,20 “As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. "’Follow me,’" he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.” Matthew 9:9 They were quick to answer the call. They were the first “Minute Men” for Christ.THE CALL

call is still going forth for men to follow Jesus.
They are drawn to the
cross.
They gather together
to serve Jesus.
They look for ways to
lead others to the cross.
THE CHALLENGE
Liftingthecross.com and Minute Men for Christ is designed to help men find resources, ideas and projects on how to lift the cross of Christ up in their daily lives. There will be opportunities for men to share their ideas and to encourage each other. Men are encouraged to band together and find ways to provide funds that will enable ministries and churches to do the work of lifting up Jesus and the cross to the world.
